Getting Started

  • Plan Sponsor's administrator provided plan MSK claims data on a spreadsheet requesting specific data needed to complete the analysis.

  • Delivery of tens of thousands of claims from a one-year period were received on downloaded spreadsheet.

  • The claims were uploaded into AWS, analyzed to focus on specific patient-centered MSK care costs (i.e., physical therapy, surgeries etc.) driving the analysis of MSK spending within the plan as a whole.
